I was in a big hospital to do esames while I was waiting for the result I talked to a transplanted person I asked how she managed to get a living donor She told me that she traveled to Israel but did not get it because her blood was rare but the agent asked for time to get one compatible donor and it took three weeks and he called and said he had a compatible donor and then the transplant was done here in the united states i asked how much you spent did he tell me how much his life costs? I confess that I was shocked so I asked for the agent's contact and he gave it to me but I did not have the courage to call.
still confused: I was in a big hospital to... - Kidney Dialysis

It is illegal in the United States to buy or sell an organ. If by chance authorities discover this it could lead to some harsh legal consequences.
That being said the U.S. transplant teams are usually very keen on abiding these laws and in denying transplants if they even suspect a hint of impropriety. It is possible the transplant person was deceiving you or the transplant team or both.
Blessings
thank you for your information and very useful to me
KidneyCoach is right, it is illegal but it doesn't surprise me that this may have been true.
Money is a great motivator to many people and the kidney/dialysis industry is not immune to its influence. In fact, I argue that it affects EVERYTHING pertaining to this and will be happy to share. Hang in there Ninoestevao, I can't give you a kidney but I can pray for you!
hello nina estevao i don't think it is wrong to pay for a kidney if we pay for the medicines waiting for someone to die to live is not very different
