Just diagnosed with Kidney disease

I am new to this disease. I am seeing my doctor tomorrow to find out what is happening to me. I was hospitalized with pneumonia this year. After recovering I discovered I have really bad numbers indicating Kidney Disease.

I met with a very personable Urologist last month.

She told me that kidney function can drop significantly after a major illness.

Once it drops, I have no idea how long it takes for it to be restored.

Welcome to our group. What are your numbers? And I would wait to hear what the doc says about it. The infection you just went through could have affected your numbers. But we will be here to support you when you need it.
