If you have Celiac and Gout along with CKD you should be speaking with a Renal Dietitian. There are many things on each list that aren't recommended for someone with CKD. I've included two articles below, one on healthy eating with Gout and one on foods to avoid with Celiac. Make a list of the good and the bad for one. Then look at the other one and mark off what's not recommended for Celiac.
After you have what's left, talk to an RD about CKD and mark off additional items. For example, whole grains are okay for gout, but not for CKD so that would have to come off. It's a process but one you have to get a handle on.

Do the same for any other health issue you have and what's left will be part of your diet.
If you are taking medications for any medical condition, eating something you shouldn't will also weaken the benefits of any medication. Best of luck

Based on information from DaVita's Kidney Smart seminars (I've taken it 3 times now), I have constructed a good (but not yet excellent) CKD4 diet. I'm frustrated that the Morningstar Farms meatless offerings are so high in sodium! Also, food labeling does not (in virtually all cases) list potassium and phosphorous. We don't have a true renal RD in Richmond, VA, but I will see a Veterans Admin dietician in a few weeks. Hope she'll have a web site or reference book that shows I'm limiting my protein consumption, supplementing it with essential amino acids tablets.
You should have a dialysis center in Richmond. They almost always have an RD on site. Check with them and explain your situation and see if they'll be willing to meet with you to discuss options. Also, if you have a hospital that does transplantations for kidneys check with them for an RD. My experience is that "regular" nutritionists and dietitians understand little regarding the needs of CKD patients.
Thanks, Mr. Kidney. Yes, DaVita has a half dozen facilities here. Their dieticians may not be credentialed renal dieticians, but I feel certain that they'd be a lot more knowledgeable in this field than a "regular" RD. I wouldn't have thought of this on my own. I shall follow-up.
I’ve found that dialysis centers are very responsive when I contact them even though I’m not yet on dialysis. Great suggestion!

I use an app called HealthWatch360 to get the full nutritional makeup for items. It lists most commercially available grocery items. This app is free and can be used on any smartphone. Anyway, it will give you potassium and phosphorus levels. The data is accurate.

Got a lot going on don't ya? You sound like me when I was first diagnosed. If I ate only what every website told me I could according to my conditions there was literally nothing left to eat. That is why you should see a dietician.
Eating for gout awareness really helped me feel better. Gout causes high acid levels so eating alkaline was the right choice. But then many of the things that are alkaline are terrible for CKD. I am not supposed to eat high vit K foods, but that are the things that are good for CKD, like greens and veggies.
After I saw my dietician, she recommended foods that work for me, but maybe not for others. I eat oatmeal and other whole grains. Not every day. I don't eat legumes such a beans because they are high in potassium, which I have to limit. If I followed what the websites say, beans and such are good for CKD. I eat tons of greens and other things with VIT K, but I do it consistently so the medication I take keeps it in balance.
You will figure this out but really, do see a dietician.
I’m sure you are aware not to eat even trace amounts of gluten if you are celiac, but you must also avoid gluten that could be cross contaminated with other foods such as pats and rice as well as any products such as toothpaste, soaps, shampoos, sunscreens and such. It is important to read all labels and make sure nothing has gluten. Food cannot be prepared in the same area or with the same utensils as food with gluten. Even the smallest amount can cause an issue. Gluten free should also help your lupus.
