this could be pressure on the leg nerve roots.
It is worth checking it out with your GP and with a chiropractor.
Hope this helps

Hi Silverman, I have lumbar spinal stenosis which causes referred pain to my hip and nerve pain in my groin, I take Gabapentin for the nerve problem and codeine when necessary for my hip. I have had x-rays and my ball and socket joints are fine. I also have Bronchiecstasis. Take care, Lizzy
You could check out your levels of B12. I had surgery for spinal stenosis privately and now think that my B12 Deficiency ( a neurological condition ) was the cause. Now on weekly B12 injections as I live in Crete and can buy them over the counter - unlike the UK - where they do NOT understand it and just say you are in range - the range being 180-900 depending on the lab. The range in Japan starts at 500. My improvement has been excellent. When B12 is low - below 500 - you can suffer neurological damage which can involve the deterioration of the myelin sheath that protects the nerves.
Low B12 is often implicated in MS - Parkinsons and many chronic conditions....
