Mistaken Diagnosis. I had an EEG today because I had an appointment with a neurologist and I told her I have had auras for a few years but I have had epilepsy all my life so I have a lot of questions I am not sure where to start. How do I tell if I have epilepsy or not I just know I had encephalitis when I was a child.

QueensWay that is a hard question & l have no answer. I too am trying to figure out how to discribe my issues so l can help the doctors help me.
What l do is keep notes about my symptoms... including any little changes and give them to my doctor.
