Hi... I had IH due to having a rare type of stroke called Cerebral Venous Sinus Thrombosis (CVST). A lumbar puncture reduced my pressure to normal and the severe headaches, blurry vision eventually stopped. It is important to have blurry vision checked by an Opthalmologist as this can be linked to conditions that can damage your eyes. The CVST was caused by Essential Thrombocythemia.

Hi I have IIH and Chiari malformation. I'm new to the group and only diagnosed a year ago so new to the condition too. I have a very understanding husband and children, thank goodness as its been very hard coming to terms with all of it and the symptoms, also the side effects of medication.
