Periods pregnancy? Please help need advice

i haven't had my periods in 3 / 4 weeks but i took a pregnancy test around 2 weeks ago it showed up negative, is there any chance i was maybe to early to show a positive sign?

What was the last day of your last period and how long does your cycle last for?? Normally the clear blue pregnancy tests say you can get a 85% accurate result 4 days before your period is due. When are you next due on? I would say you tested to early IMO.

I can't remember the last date of my period but i was on the contraceptive pill but ran out and couldn't get another appointment with my doctor so i haven't been taking it but my periods normally last the seven days. and normally when I stop taking the pill my periods come two days after that.

All I can say is take another pregnancy test in another 1/2 weeks then if you haven't come on by then. I defo think you tested too soon for the test to pick up any pregnancy hormone. Periods can go abit mad if you stop taking the pill so dont know if you are trying for a baby or not but book an appointment with your doc and take their advice, maybe they might take a blood sample to check your hormone levels.

hi barbie. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative, then I didnt have my period and took another one later on and it was positive. Pregnancy test can only detect the hormone your body generates when you are pregant, when its present in your blood in a certain amount, it could have been to soon when you took it. I say, do it again. Hope its the result you want!! good luck
