Done a pregnancy test came back negative

So im a week late for my period, I was on the depo and presumed my periods had come back regulary, as had one last month and the month before. I stopped the depo in April. So I took at test on the day before my period was due (last week) and it came back negative. Now I don't know whether to do another one or my periods just havnt come back properly :/. Its so frustrating! Thanks in advance

I waited for nearly a month after my missed period until i checked because i didn't want to get my hopes up.

Also getting nervous about the test and putting pressure on yourself to do one is not a good sign as that can sometimes lead to false negatives and other answers like that.

So keep calm, wait a few more weeks or more days if you are eager. But don't gets yourself worked up about it

Hi I had my implant out in May this year. 5 weeks later i had my first period, then conceived after that. I did several tests, from a couple of days before I was due on again, but it took until 8 days late until I got a faint positive. The test works by picking up the presence of the HCG hormone produced by an embryo.

From a website: One reason for a false negative pregnancy test could be that you took the test too early. Pregnancy tests vary in their sensitivity which means how soon they can detect the hormone Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) in your urine. It is possible that although your ovum might be fertilized, meaning you may be pregnant, but your body has not started secreting enough Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) for the test to measure. Your body needs time for the hormone to rise to a high enough level to be detected in a test.

If it's been a week since you did a test, then perhaps do another and see? and like Leanne said, Relax
