How long should I breastfeed my baby? Is it good to breastfeed after two years? Will it affect my health?
I have read a different article about it. I read articles on Verywell Family, Australian Breastfeeding, Parentology, health line, kids health. Most of them write about the same thing. I think how long you breastfeed for is personal choice! I haven't suffered ill health from extended breastfeeding (3 years) If your still comfortable to carry on and so is your LO then relax and enjoy it 😁
It's your choice. The World Health Organisation recommends until at least 2, but if you feel you want to carry on, go for it! I read somewhere recently that the benefits of breastfeeding an older child are even greater than breastfeeding a newborn. I think it's probably because of all the bugs they come into contact with the older they get and all the development that is going on with them.
My little one is 17 months and I don't feel anywhere close to stopping. Plus he loves it and it's our bonding and quiet time together.
Carry on for as long as both you and baby want to! It’s got health benefits for the both of you! Stop when you’re both ready to.

Breast feed for as long as you are able too. My LG didn’t latch properly and I expressed we lasted 8 weeks which doesn’t sound a lot, but seeing as she was very clingy and needy from me, 8 weeks is long. I personally don’t agree with putting baby on boob past 1, that’s my own opinion.
