Hello mums

Baby Ty is dealing with teething and is waking up every hour at nights. So obviously we are sleep deprived. I'm using bonjela but seems to be not enough. Any precious advice? Any secrets anyone wants to share to help us? Many thanks

Not really a secret ... But when things are bad I use calpol, just at night some bubba can get some rest. Although if it's ongoing then it might get be due to teething... Growth spurts can do funny things too!

Thanks I'll try. It's a while now I'd say at least 3 weeks

That sounds long for teething ... Hopefully it's not a new routine. I've read (not experienced first hand) that before babies start moving their sleep can also be off.

I found it hard to tell when My bubbas was teething. She was drooling by 3 months with the odd weird nappy but toothies took till 7montjs to pop out!

Oh dear me! Ty is 3 and a half months. Is having acid stink nappies since 2-3 weeks now and is dribbling a lot also hands in his mouth quite a lot plus this crazy sleeping. That's why I thought teething. Hope is not a sleeping habit 😕

dont worry too much my friends baby had her teeth out at 4 months, and even tho my bubba took a while for her teeth her sleep wasn't hourly wakes for 4months! It comes and goes and at 10 months finally had a few nights of sleep through/1 wake max! The vinegar nappies and drooling do sound like teething tho!

As long as he's fine and himself otherwise You shouldn't be too worried. But if u are there's not harm in asking your GP to check him out to make sure there's nothing else amiss.

When my daughter was teething she used to have really smelly nappies too, and struggled to sleep. We used the Nelsons Teetha Granules which really helped her a lot. Might not help with the sleeping but it will relieve some of the discomfort!
