Took Ovex - didn't know I was pregnant

Just found out I am 6 weeks pregnant but am stressed as last week I took ovex a deworm pill - so 5 weeks. My pregnancy tests were negative so I didn't think I was pregnant. Now I'm terrified I have harmed my baby and don't know what to do

Talk to your GP. They will have more information than we can give. Try not to worry. You won't be the first person. A lot of drugs are not recommended in pregnancy because they cannot ethically trial their use on pregnant women, so it is a "better safe than sorry" approach.

Thank you. I called the doctor and they have arranged an early pregnancy scan for me next week

Thankfully all seems ok - have a 8 month old baby now. I took it in the first trimester too. Maybe just let your doctor/midwife know but hopefully all will be ok for you xxx

Hi, thankfully yes. My daughter is now almost 3. Just let your midwife/dr know as they can advise and can check for issues during the scans x
