Every woman is fertile on a different cycle so it is recomended that you have sex every couple of days if you're trying to conceive OR buy ovulation kits.

Usually its 14 days from the first day of your period...so if you have your period on the 5th of the month count that as day 1.... Day 14 would be the 18th....worked for me anyway good luck xxx

Sorry but I have to disagree with KikiB as every women cycle length is different. A nurse told me to count backwards 14 days not forwards as not every women has a 28 day cycle.

For instance if you have a:

28 day cycle you will ovulate approx day 14

26 day cycle - approx day 12

24 day cycle - approx day 10 (like me! And I know this to he true as I did Clear blue ovulation monitoring over 3 months and I was ovulation 9 & 10 days into my cycle)

If you periods are not regular and like clockwork and your serous about conceiving the ovulation tests might be the way to go failing that intercourse every other day and be patient.
