Heya, yea i had the same with my little boy. Bump was above the lines for all of my pregnancy. It may just be an early growth spurt for bubs. Me and my midwife gave it til 36 weeks and then i asked to have a diabetes test to check. I didnt have it, and was checked my consultant but they said it was nothing to worry about. I ended up being induced at 41+5 and he was a lumpy 9lb 6oz. x

I have two boys & was the same during both of my pregnancies. I measured way above all three lines on the chart & ended up going for growth scans & to check for a condition where you have too much fluid, they thought babies would be over 10lb but they were 8lb10 & 8lb12 so not that big. I was just huge! Don't worry you probably just have a lot of fluid :-) x

I'm probably not going to be much help but I was told all the way along my baby would be 'on the large side'. We even had a 4d scan and was told to expect around8lb 10! When my daughter arrived (1week early) she weighed........6lb7!!! I also measured above the lines k my chat by some way.

I got told my son was big but he was 7lb13..he was laying with his bum sticking out so made me look quite big...hav they sent u for a growth scan as I dont really trust their word or judgment with a tape measure..lots of factors. .how baby is laying. .how much fluid etc x

Hey yes I was measuring big from 31 weeks they were saying my bump was measuring full term so I had a growth scan where they realises it was excess fluid and baby was slightly on bigger size. I had to see consultant and he decided to check baby again at 36 weeks so another scan and same results bk and now goin be induced few days earlier on 27th bit due date was 31st. Have they said they goin scan u? Xx

I had the same thing. This was my third baby, they measured him small then they measured that he was going to be a big baby. My other two were 9lb. When I had my lo he was 6lb 11oz, so not that big after all x

Hey. Yh I was told constantly mine would be a big baby and i showed from early and was absolutely huge especially as i have a small frame....they estimated at the very least 10lb. When I went to have him, turned out I carries a lot of fluid and in fact he weighed 7lb14 when born at 41 weeks. These things tend to be mainly guesswork it seems x

Hi, my first pregnancy I was told the same thing, I measured above the 3 lines and my son was 9lb 14 born 8 days over. I had all the tests and everything came back as normal, he was just really long. My midwife just said to me 'don't worry big ones don't hurt any more than little ones!' if it helps I think gravity helped as I had a quick, very easy labour -just hope same happens this time round :-) My friends' daughter in law's 1st was 11lb 2 and she had a very similar experience too. fingers crossed for a fast safe and easy delivery for you xxx
