I talked to my doctor about this very thing.

He pointed out that because I have glaucoma, it'd not be advisable.

It is pretty interesting though.

Whoa! Don't get too excited. So far this drug has only been tested in the mouse model of MS. Recruitment for a Phase 2 trial in humans is in the early stages. This is a long way from becoming an FDA approved medication--think years!

Yeah my wife was saying probably 2 to 7 years. I get too excited all the time.

And that is IF it is found to work in humans! And if it is approved by the FDA then it will be at least another year before Medicare and other insurance will pay for it.
