I wanted to watch the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. It started at midnight So I stayed up all night long! And it just started raining so I threw on slippers and went out to throw plastic over a bookcase that I’m refinishing. I think I saved it it was old anyway. A neighbor gave it to me. I just didn’t want it to get warped.

So I just crawled into bed and it’s 9:38 AM on Monday. Nothing is going to get done around here today.😀

In this country nothing much happened EXCEPT the funeral, everything was closed, and it was on every TV and radio channel, so we all have a good excuse for taking the day off.

They know how to organize a bit of pomp and ceremony. She certainly got a good send-off.

Woke up tis morning, what do I have to get done today? I know what I'm making for dinner because it's Tuesday, and I spent a lot of time getting ready for Taco Tuesday, since the authentic taqueria near me closed a few monts back and those 99 cent tacos are a thing of the past. What do I have to do today? Will have to wait till I get downstairs where I think I left my list?
