I have a very small bathroom and a very large dog. He is absolutely terrified of the shower, but I'm not allowed to be in that room by myself. I no longer announce that I'm going in there, but if he even THINKS that I'm walking towards the bathroom, he'll dart in ahead of me and then guard the door after I'm inside. We're going to have a catastrophe one of these days.

Even worse is when you live alone for a while and then one of the kids moves back home. Suddenly, you HAVE to shut that door. Fortunately, mine blocks the steps to upstairs, so at least I had some warning that I might be displaying more body parts than I should.

Truth! Why does this happen? So glad I am not the only one. My Molly is always right behind me. If she lingers in the doorway, I ask her, "Are you in or out?" Because, sometimes it is URGENT, and she lingers too long, she has to wait outside the door. Where would we be without our fur babies? 😀
