I am sitting here laughing because your name "twooldcrows", is EXACTLY what my daughter called me an my best friend (friends since we were 18 and now 74) back in 1994 (that's another story). 😆❤️

i picked it for my husband and me for we are old and can be a little on the grumpy side at times..ahhahhh...we both had to retire early and hadn't been together 24/7 at all before so it has been quite the task ...he was a owner operator truck driver all of the years of us being married and so he was gone a lot ..had to be for the business to keep on keeping on normal for owner operator..i worked also and the kids and i were our own team ...so being together so much was really hard so i just thought of us as two old crows...hahahahhaahh...it has been a great journey and so much better now we still have our riffs but funny now .....both are strong willed people so that is what makes it so hard....but was great for the kids for i had to be the dad and mom...they grew up strong people too...we do what we have to do....love and happiness really does help lots...hahahha....good luck and happiness ...may it be filled with loads and loads of love and happiness...

LOL Understand totally. My husband in much the same boat, but it has always just been the 2 of us. NOW though we have have been 24/7 since 2010. As for my daughter now my friend and I tell her she is an old crow since she is 51. We just laugh about it. Hope you and your husband are doing well as it an adjustment for sure for any of us as we get older and retire. We have been married 40 yrs this coming year. They tell you time flies when you are having fun. We figure we must be have one heck of time. LOL He with MS and me with Fibro.

it is true it is an adjustment ...yes we are fine ...just old people junk ..he has problems from Vietnam ...agent orange has made a mess out of him ...but we are surviving ...just life right ..it is funny how the kids react when we call them old ...hahhahhah..we have been married for 49 years ...ups and downs but we are surviving ..hhhahhhahahah....no body now try to survive their marriages ....get in a little tizzy and it is over ...had a girl friend that wishes she had worked harder on hers for she has been married several times and it goes back to thinking about her first ....so sad ...love and much happiness to all of the family...

Yes, you are right. The other "old Crow friend" she has been married 2x's and she has really worked at 2nd marriage. They hit a really bad patch. Does seem that couples do not "worked at it". It takes 2, ups and downs. That's life. So sorry about your husband. Had friends --- well you know how it is with Agent Orange. Take care. Wishes for good days for you and your husband and family.
