Same to you!
Hope you all had a wonderful holiday!
Thank you! We had a great day with my youngest son and his girlfriend. We got to sing a carol to a lovely widow who is always alone on Christmas. I think it did more for my son and his girlfriend and my husband and me than it did for our neighbor. Good food, good company, and may blessings. I hope yours was just as lovely.
Just peace and quiet...thanks. What you did for that poor lonely lady was the epitome of human kindness. May you reap what you sew! Many blessings, greaterexp !
It was such a tiny gesture. I have gotten to know her a bit, and she related to me that when she lost her husband about 3 years ago, she tried to commit suicide. It dawned on me that we had probably just moved into the neighborhood then, but I had no knowledge that she had lost her husband and was in so much pain and despair. I was too busy focusing on my MS to notice anyone else and their troubles. It has been a big blessing getting to know our neighbors better because of this Covid mess. I'm sorry I was in my shell, and sorry that it took Covid to push me to get to know my neighbors.
I have never spent Christmas in the desert. Over the pond it is either sunny and dry, wet and windy or cold and wet. I haven’t had a white Christmas since I lived in Canada. Anyways I hope it’s a good day for you, enjoy my dear friend, blessings Jimeka 🤗
oh .............. i love it so sweet ...i was going to ask what the weather was like and now i know ...hahahhah...love it ..Merry Christmas...
Cold (like 46 degrees and in the 30s overnight)!🥶
didn't think they ever get that cold ...wow ...we were in low teens this morning ...only a high of 41 don't think it will make it we are at 32 and have been for along time ...winds blowing hard ...love and happiness is all we need ...stay warm...
So true! Back at you! 💖 Deserts always cool down at night, as you know, and we are at 4300 feet in the mountains, so our norm is in the 50s and 60s during the winter during the day and then it drops at night. Lately we've been having weird weather; extreme heat during the summers (100s) when it should be pretty temperate (70s, 80s) and two years ago we had a dreadful blizzard that lasted 3 days! Do you think it could be climate change?! 😱😱
that is weird ...i always thought it was hot all the time...didn't think it was that high of elevation ..we are 4700 but it is in the mountains of Oregon ...we usually have lots of snow to have plow the driveway to go to town 9 miles away but i love all of the snow and this year it is little dustings and gone before noon...oh well more water for the reserves been getting rain instead ...i am alive and doing good so i can't complain to much ..take care and be safe...
We're very south of you...northern Arizona. Not nearly the got temps of Phoenix, about 2 hrs south. I grew up in Cleveland, OH in the eastern suburbs and I don't like snow at all! I agree, I am here and doing well so I will just take that! Wishing you a great 2021 with many blessings! Stay safe and well, twooldcrows !
so cute!
