I’m proud of both my sons. Mason works for GM in their R&D department. I’m proud of the men they’ve become.

Their Mom and I did good. We are in agreement on how to raise them. We did our best and agree that although we made many mistakes, they aren’t horribly scarred. Nothing a little therapy won’t fix! LOLOLOL

My 16 yr old son has enough of both my husband & me to cause quite the ruckus 🤦🏼‍♀️🤬 He is also extremely loving with a huge ❤️ who I am often told is quite the gentleman with others 🤷‍♀️ My 14 yr old just keeps to himself. Apparently he’s paying attention to his brother’s actions & attitude bc he’s avoiding repeating it 😉

BUT they are both extremely helpful and do anything asked if it’s to help their mama!!

I feel bad sometimes that they do so much compared to other kids their age but our family PCP (she is a dual certified adult internist & Pediatrician) said “Life lessons. It is good for them” and the boys said they really don’t mind. In turn, I also drag myself (close to literally on occasion) to all their hockey games across the country bc they both love the game and I know appreciate my being there to support them. Honestly, sometimes it is what is keeping me active & pushing thru the not so good days no matter what.

I think we will both have some strong, successful, empathetic men on our hands. As parents, what more could we really ask for?
