I'm new here. Does anyone have a solid recommendation for a Medicare approved DME supplier? I need a Drive DLX rollator to replace my four-year-old Nitro. It has been my lifeline, enabling me to get outside everyday. The DLX is five lbs heavier, an advantage in a stiff breeze and rough terrain. My PCP sent a scrip to CVS: they have the model on their site, but declined the assignment recommending I seek reimbursement after purchase. I have called others but they don't have the DLX. This is all very discouraging. I would appreciate the help.

I wish I could help, but can only welcome you. I don't know if MSAA could help, but here's a link:
I've been searching for a company and each provider told that it's not covered by medicare so if someone knows of a place I'd like to know as well.
I contacted medline.com and marsmedicalsupply.com
Ok! I did sent my question to the msaa link this pm. As soon as I get a reply I will let you know.
I got a very informative response from mymsaa.org earlier today. In a nutshell, her research was reflective of my experience. While appreciating my frustration, no supplier of the Drive DLX has yet been identified. I was provided with some recommendations I will follow up on. I also saw my pt this morning, who offered to look do what she could to determine if there is a way to accomplish my goal. Fingers crossed.
Have you checked Amazon? I know that they have it. They accept HSA FSA. I’m not sure how Medicare works or if they those options. I used Amazon to get mine. It’s a beautiful emerald green.
BTW pink and green are my favorite colors 😁
Welcome to the community!

Thanks for the welcome. Medicare only pays to approved providers. Too bad Amazon is not on that list. I got my first one there and was the first to show it off everywhere: on the street, in waiting rooms, at church, even at the two different rehab hospitals in which I had to be admitted. It got so much attention, that doctors were photographing it. I do love my Jag, but it needs to be replaced. I will get it done...somehow.
