The MD and his thoughts have huge influence on what I decide to do, I will look into those thoughts and that information but at the end of it all I've got to make the decision for myself

Absolutely! It pays to be present in the process and learn as much as you can about yourself and all of the options to find what best fits your needs! I journal everything so that my neuro can know ME...not just my symptoms as a patient. Helps her to better formulate suggestions as well.
