Maybe you just need to let him know that you like him to sleep in the bed with you. Or he could be like my husband gets homeFrom work and he lays down like my husband on the recliner not mine his and he’s down for the count.

you know i was the same way for almost 5 years i slept on the couch, dont take it personally really dont, he might be in pain and doesnt want to bother you and he might be having issues getting to sleep or staying asleep . he might be thinking he is helping you. that is how i was with my husband i didnt want to keep him awake because i was having issues. it seemed for me when the day was over and time to relax is when all the issues started.

You know my mom use to fall asleep on the couch while watching tv and when it was 11:00pm my dad would wake her up to go to bed and she would get up set because now she would have to go back to sleep.

Like you had said it could be any reason he is staying on the couch 1 if he was asleep leave him be.

Just want to say since I sleep on my chair my husband falls asleep on his recliner and he knows how much I want to sleep next to him he said to me this is to be next to me. I have to say that is so nice but you know what he SNORES and so I say to him that he should get a good night sleep in bed. Which is fine with me. I know he is home sleeping some where in the house. You have to be happy he is still with you just talk with him.

I’ve been married for a very long time this year will be 34 years, you have to give in a little bit, just talk with him.
