Sometime former in-laws are family forever. I have a 56 year old step-son that is everything I could ever want in a son. And my husband now just seems to understand that I love this son by another mother. Your afghan is FABULOUS!! I've considered making something like that but it scares me. Congratulations on making a work of art and Love, I'm sure she will love it forever!

Each color represents someone - the yellow is the favorite color of one of the sisters that died suddenly.

Ssdw1958 it's Fancy1959. You're Afghan is absolutely stunning! When I was younger I was too full of energy to sit down and learn how to do any knitting or crocheting even though my mother was a pro at it. I much preferred being outside with my dad being a tomboy on the farm. Now as I have a lot more time to sit I sometimes wish I had learned how to do such beautiful artwork like you have done. You are fortunate that you are able to create such magnificent work. I love it. Fancy
