Thank you. My family has had a bit of a shock this week. The landlord has decided to put our farm up for sale, it belongs to our local authority, they are giving us first option but out of the blue, if we don't buy it's going to auction and we will have a new landlord which could make things very difficult. Anyone got a spare million £? Blessings Jimeka 🦋 🌈

Oh jimeka , that's terrible! How long have you been there? Had they hinted that they were thinking about this?

erash we have been here 22 years. These local authority farms were set up initially to start young farmers off but over the years the council that's the local authority have sold all the farms to make money. We are the last one in our area, it was inevitable really. Blessings Jimeka 🦋 🌈

bavery207 thank you. It will be a slow process as now we have had to employ a valueer who negotiates with the representative of our landlord, it could take 6 months before we know anything. I have to have faith, and keep smiling. How are you keeping? Blessings Jimeka 🦋 🌈

@jimeka. So sorry to hear that happening to you. Even if you had thoughts of it happening its still bad news. Plus take it from a voice of experience moving with ms is a major undertaking especially after 22 years. We were in ours 23 years and its unbelievable how much you accumulate in that time. We've got a couple of extra bedrooms if you'd like to come to Toccoa Georgia USA. Lol. Praying for things to work out in your situation.

Doubled51 we won't e moving, we will just have to contend with a new landlord, hopefully a nice one. We have a 1986 tenancy agricultural agreement so they cannot throw us off. Thank you of offer of your spare room, you don't know what you would be letting yourself into. Lol 😂

@jimeka you just don't what you would be coming into. Haha. With an 8 year old living here and occasionally my baby girl there's never a dull moment. Glad you don't have to move. I think @greater and all The rest that's has moved lately will agree that it is not a fun thing to do when you have ms.

That is do good they can't throw you off. I didn't want to say anything before. We rented a wonderful duplex over yrs an should of bought when we had a chance. Our landlord lived across the street. He put all of his properties into a trust and gave trust power of attorney. We found ourselves receiving a 30 day notice to vacate, because bank sold everything. We did have to move, but it all worked out in it's own way. Like I say, God has a plan..
