The brain appears to be working very well, those slippers don't look easy to make. Well done Lynn, I am sure the recipient will be thrilled. Thanks for sharing, you want to be proud of yourself. Blessings Jimeka x

Thank you! I just went numb last summer and have pretty much given up much physical activity. I'm grateful for my crafting.. Keeps my hands and brain busy.

Very impressive...and obviously nothing wrong with the brain! Anyone who can count the loops to cast on, then read the abbreviations to decrease or increase AND produce something lovely and useful is using all sorts of brain cells! As for me, potholders, yes, anything else, no. Do you sell, gift, or donate your wonderful items? They must be welcome and popular. (no emoticons on my WP program or you'd see a row of stars and hearts)

Have so many projects waiting, it would be some time before I could do anything. What's a silkie? A backing for the item?

Those look so warm and inviting! I think it's cold everywhere right now. I'm hunting for warm things to wear! Keep up the great work!

So nice to see a fellow crafter! I own a textile business and this time of year is very difficult. Lots of orders, lots of work. Every year my hands and fingers get worse due to Psoriatic arthritis. I have tried every remedy, potion, lotion, you can think of. Some days are better than others. Knitting however, has been my one saving grace.

It keeps my hands nimble, loosens the joints, and helps my fingers to not lock up. I always tell customers that their are many benefits to handiwork. Not only for enjoyment, but for relaxation and meditation, as well as physical and mental benefits.

Your work looks great! Keep knitting and purling away!

Thank you fellow crafter! Crafts are saving my sanity while waiting for definitive DX on Monday after months of tests. I also have osteoarthritis and take Celebrex for it. Also have started taking turmeric and ginger root supplements.. I already have some finger joints that are frozen from arthritis. Interesting how we can adapt to our circumstances.. and MS.
