sore jaw

my left jaw joint is sore and stiff, has anybody an idea what this could be, I have had it a week or so.

Could be teeth related or joint related. Might be worth giving dentist a call.

Hi Lybra, Sometimes I get that same pain. It's just under my left ear lobe and around the jaw and in front of my ear. Doctor didn't have an opinion except that maybe I grind my teeth at night while asleep. I don't. Best thing I suggest that works for me is to get some liniment used for muscle pain from the drug store and rub it around the area. One that is especially good is call Arnica. It's a gel and comes in a tube. Hope this helps.

Thank you I also had a suggestion about grinding my teeth, because I live myself I do not know. I am using Volterol, which I have for my Arthritis, and sometimes it seems to help.
