Anyone else have/had basal cell carcinoma?

Hi everyone

Just been diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma im absolutely petrified?

My dr performed a small operation to remove it but now they saying it wasn't all removed so they sending me to dermatology has anyone else ever had this

The term is just the correct medical way of saying skin cancer. Don’t panic, millions of people have it in various degrees of severity - some never even know. Surgery to remove it should solve the problem and it is not known to spread.

Thanks for this its helping me stay positive thankyou . I agree with you when you hear the name its petrified me out my witts its my biggest fear aswelk so that dont help
