Hey love, I've personally gone/going through depression & there is hope. Therapy and possibly medication are recommended & understanding that it's okay you're feeling like this. What ever you're going through or have gone through justifies how you're feeling and it's a cancer that MANY people suffer from BUT also recover from. There's no age or circumstance that is exempt from depression, and there's no time limit to the healing process. I don't know the particulars of why you feel this why but I'm so sorry you do, and you may go through this period of hopelessness and suicide thoughts but the lows will eventually turn into highs, and give you an opportunity to change your situation. Again, there's no telling how long it may last but you definitely need to push through it as best you can, accept your slips/relapses, understand that there are people thinking about you (even random supports on the interwebz), an these wonderful opportunities that you'll inevitably come across to help you. It took me almost 10 years of struggling through my adolescents to find my opportunity, and during that time I repeatedly wanted to give up hope. You can do it! And I'm rooting for you here in Canada! If you need any other kind of support (like a good chat), just let me know.

Welcome to the site lovebug93. it's a great place to share, cry, shout, rant, help, commiserate, empathise, and find support. You don't say what your skin problem is but that doesn't matter as any skin issue can cause depression and sharing on here is your first step to recovery.

Take care of yourself x

You have all the support possible from those of us that have been there. I was told , It will pass.i never believed them but it did. You don't say if you are on medication. It masks it a bit. Are you suicidal? Perfectly natural thoughts as you just want to get away from yourself but don't let these thoughts dominate your thinking. You may feel you just want to sleep. Your body automatically works toward healing you. I have no practical help to offer except this one. It takes monumental effort but try to excercise . After a fairly short while you will begin to feel different. Also go out. Don't forget to shower and clean your teeth. These are the things that I found the most difficult. It will pass. Try not to despair.

Weare all rooting for you. Keep in touch, tell us when you begin to feel better. Good luck.
