JEAN JAMES JUNE 2013

MY JOURNEY BACK

In the beginning the future shimmered from a distance

Shapes, forms, thoughts struggling to take shape

As if waking from a dream

I reach outwards allowing them in

Slow, sluggish, first steps.

Body and mind acknowledging trauma, then letting go

Fear focusing my mantra ‘its okay, its okay, its okay’

Vulnerability met with tenderness from those just ‘doing their job’

Surrounded by love- invisible arms holding me

Early summer dawn renewing my energy

My spirits rising embracing new beginnings

Gathering light flooding the sky

The path ahead shining radiantly .

Greeting me on my journey back
