I have been inforrmed by the D.W.P. how much I recieve, Rather confusing, to say the least, constantly changing.

The Parkinsons Trust put us in touch with a lovely lady, Sarah Robinson who came round to my Fathers house, and went through all his finances, filled forms in with him. He is now receiving every benefit he is entitled too. We would not have been aware if not for the wonderful people at the trust and the MSA Trust.

Odd people spoke to us at various times but it was assumed that as we were not entitled to any means tested benefits there was nothing we needed to be told. I found out about the carer's grant because an OT told me. It can only be spent on the carer in person. I spent it on Nordic walking which helped to keep me fit and was some of the best money I have ever spent

I’m in the US and when I had the nurse come in to evaluate me for home health care PT,OT and speech, they also had a social worker pay me s visit and he told me about all the resources available . I wasn’t aware of some of them so it was good news.
