hi, my 46 year old son has been referred for an MRI but it’s taking ages. My local hospital has a private, self-refer MRI unit & I want to make an appointment. Would I ask for brain & spine scan or just brain? Thanks, I’m in U.K.

Hiya 👋🏼If it's to check for ms lesions, they could be in both places unfortunately. If you are requesting it, tell them what you are looking for and they should know what to do.
