Mom has MS and now maybe so do I?

My mother was diagnosed with MS when she was in her twenties, it started with her body just forgetting hoe to walk and her spending a year of her life relearning that and then it went into hiding until she was almost fifty and I was about ten, and it’s slowly taken more and more away from her and she’s basically just trying not to end up in a wheel chair at this point, about a year ago I started to show symptoms and had to get referred to her neurologist to find out if I have it, I’ve been waiting five months and still have one more month to wait before my appt, and as time has moved on I’ve started to shoe more symptoms, and it’s just scaring me but weirdly at the same time I almost want to have it to explain everything that’s happening to me in the past year, especially the last couple months, I don’t really know what to make of this possibility or how to feel towards my mom or what to do I guess, any support is much appreciated
