Going away for the weekend soon, the Hotel has these facilities and I'd love to use them but not sure if its safe. I've recently had a few dizzy spells which also gives me doubts.

Hello,

Well, I don't know but I have used jacuzzis,Saunas(being Scandinavian...)and steam rooms as well as hot tubs (the outdoors tubs, when it has been about -20 degrees..)and I have not had any problems. . We, my family and I, used to rent a whole department for Christmas, and I go in all the various saunas and jacuzzis and no problems at all.Very relaxing in fact. Also, used to have an outdoors hot tub and to sit in the warm water and enjoy a Northern Light is great!

Now, if you are a bit worried, just go in for a short while and be next to the door, prepared to exit. I would think that steam rooms are better than dry saunas, but I am no expert. If you dare use either of them, I really hope you can enjoy it and have a nice time!

Hello

I suffer from PV. Use the steam room at local leisure centre. It helps a lot as I have a problem with body itch after contact with water. If I use the steam room after a swim the itch is much less of a problem. I would not hesitate to use the facilities on offer.
