Clinical Trial Update

Hello again. So wanted to update the group to say that I have been accepted into the clinical trial for IMG-7289. I have a meeting with my hemo/onco today to discuss, (he is not the doctor doing the trial), although I already know he will encourage me to begin. The peg has been keeping my blood counts stable but is not a joy to be on. I have dermatological side effects as well as horrible GI issues with it. The side effects with this sound extremely minimal and I love the idea of just taking one pill versus injection etc. Of course, we will have to see what my experience is. Will keep you posted.

Thanks for the update, and helping some of us look into the promise of this therapy. I see it's in Ph 2 trial for ET and MF, with the PV you're joining just starting.

Likely you know about this study that goes only to 24 weeks, they state 4 years of experience with it has no safety issues. (I assume these years are pre-clinical and Ph 1 studies)

The summary I take is IMG-7289 helps on almost everything we care about. There's no data yet for ET on allele reduction but for MF it looks promising, saying "All driver mutations showed sensitivity to IMG-7289".

It could be the first agent I know of other than INF that can fix CBC numbers and can reduce allele, all that with mild side effects for ET. Only Ph 3 trials will tell for sure. Lets hope it gets FDA breakthrough designation (I have no evidence this is happening)

This line got my attention:

"Patients (n = 6) who had a TSS score of >10 at Day 1 observed a decrease in TSS (83%) at 12 weeks."

I think it means the severe symptomatic ET patients had a reduction of 83%. If true, I'm more than ready to pop these pills. I don't think even INF gets that clear of a reduction.

Yes! The results really do look promising. That’s why am so excited about it. Looking forward to getting the paperwork done and starting. I will keep you guys posted
