Well platelets have gone down ..by...4 so not much. At least they haven't gone up. My HU has increased to 13 tablets a week .. back in a month. So I now stand at 1093.. feeling ok as everything else is normal..

I find it so weird that I can’t function when my platelets go over 400

Gosh 1093 we all react differently, like Wyebird if I go above 450 I am so symptomatic it’s awful- I take 2 hydroxycarbamide daily to keep my platelets at around 400.

Mine have gone from 600 when first diagnosed to 1700 in the last 5 years. Symptoms haven't changed that much. I find tiredness the main thing but that could be due to using Hydroxicarbamide. Least they didn't go up . It's a strange condition we all suffer from.

Good luck with it -sounds as though your haem is keeping a check if you are back in a month
