Hi,
I asked the same on here only last week for my area. Maz replied asking me to write to her email for a response giving details of where I live and where I am presently treated. Her email is maz@mpnvoice.org.uk
Hello - I live in North Yorkshire and I see a specialist at James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough - I too have ET. The haematology department there is excellent. I was diagnosed in June 2016 and after a few months, once we'd developed a treatment plan for me, I asked for a referral to Guys in London so that I get could a second opinion. The Drs in Guys agreed with all the info and treatment plan suggestions so I'm very confident that I'm being well looked after at James Cook. I know that personal circumstances may be such that travelling from Cumbria to Middlesbrough may not be possible, but I wanted to let you know just in case. Please let me know if you'd like any more information about James Cook. All the very best. Caroline
