HI there

Yes, I get a lot of facial pain, including TMJ with certain migraines, and also very congested in the sinuses. The TMJ aspect only developed as part of the migraines around 5 years ago.

Usually if I have pain in the face and jaw, i wouldn't have pain in the middle or back of my head at the same time. But I've noticed that the migraine pain sometimes moves from the head into the face.I find the face, teeth and jaw pain one of the most difficult to treat.

Neck pain isn't relieved by standard pain killers for me, but I have found that if I put the TENS machine on my back as soon as I start to feel uncomfortable it appears to help the muscle pain, I think it also helps to relax the muscle.

Have you tried applying a cold pack to the face if the pain is really acute? It numbs the nerves and gives some pain relief.

I get a lot of stabbing nerve pain in the back of my head, facial pain, burning pain in my upper spine and neck. These usually tell me a migraine is coming. I can only take paracetomol because of my other health problems and it is not effective. Ice helps.

Its hard to tell if its sinus pain or migraine, but if I get lots of mucus making me sick i go to the doctors for antibiotics, you can get a migraine from sinus congestion

Hi all got sinus scan result. They are cleat. So it's likely to be TMJ.

No idea how to fix it.
