Hi know everybody responds differently, but wanted to ask peoples experiences of taking fluarzine for heimolegic migriane? (Good and bad!)

I've tried now over 9 types of preventative (tablets and injections) and no luck/bad side effects, so feeling bit cynical by now! Trying gammacore but because migraine got severe and frequent (daily basis) been recommendations to try different things same time but just bit freaked out after so much not great experiences! Plus worried around side effects around mood mostly too but think not trying it and having daily attacks affecting my mood also so feel like can't win either way

Thanks!

I have daily and nightly Hemiplegic migraine attacks and am taking Flunarizine. Overall it has reduced my back of head pain, the pain in my headaches has also reduced though I still get them, and gastric pain also reduced, perhaps some easing of hyperacusis. My aura symptoms are much more extreme than my headaches, particularly the frequent daily paralysis.I am severely disabled by my HPM and Flunarizine has helped me feel brighter in myself but I do have strong side affects including increased severity of my burning throbbing body pain, particularly overnight, bad dreams and nightmares, some weight gain due to additional hunger, and it makes me incredibly tired so that I have to go back to bed after taking it. So I am on a low dose. It has still helped me enough to persevere with it ,after having no effective treatment before. But I wish the aura symptoms would go away.
