Hi,

Has anyone been able to get Rimegepant prescribed? It's not available in the UK until med 2023 but I know other countries have approved it. Thanks

I live in Ireland ,but have to wait for drug to go before NCPE Ireland. I do not know when I will get it from my neurologist. At this stage he has run out of options. People that do not have migraine do not know how we suffer everyday. Vyepti was approved in all countries in EU in January and he still cannot get access to it. I live with chronic daily migraine since I was 12 years old and I am now 68.Nobody would believe that I had migraine until I went to my neurologist 11 years ago. Both sides of my family had it. Lets hope we can get relief soon from this painful illness. Best Regards 195fifi.

My son suffers terribly from chronic migraine, he was prescribed rimegelant (Nurtec, here in the US) by his neurologist but his insurance denied it. Which is so incredibly frustrating because when his neurologist gave him a sample, it worked wonderfully. He's had these migraines since he was a child and (he's 30 now) and it tears me up to see him suffer. Have tried everything.

I'm so sorry to hear that, so incredibly frustrating. I've understood that it will be available March 2023.. hopefully!
