Aimovig & the Other CGRP Medications for Migraine!

Hi! I live in the USA but am a Brit expatriate from London... I was first started on preventatives over 30 years ago at the National Migraine Center! I wanted to invite you all to our rapidly growing, international, Aimovig & CGRP support group where there are over 1,500 patients who are sharing stories, posting about side effects, and letting others know about their success with Aimovig. It's super exciting! We have a lot of migraine patients from the UK and other countries besides the USA!

This is SUCH an incredible time in the world of Migraine with two more CGRP medications expected to be approved in the USA in September, and hopefully shortly after that we're hoping that the European Commission makes a final decision about marketing Aimovig. For me personally, I just had my second dose of Aimovig, and unfortunately I'm not one of the ones with a phenomenal response - I get almost the same number of migraine days (maybe a couple less) BUT it seems that the severity of those migraines are significantly less than before - it's hard to know for sure yet, but I'm hopeful. However, there are many in our group who are reporting a HUGE difference, and some who appear to be super-responders. You and anyone else in the UK are VERY WELCOME to join the group. I had my first shot of Aimvoig. It's been 5 days, I am feeling overly tired, dizzy, having insomnia, and migraines are worse. Can anyone tell me if they experienced this and has it gotten better?
