I recently have a new symptom aside from my diagnosis of vestibular migraine , associated with physical deconditioning (poor proprioception from two surgeries affecting lower limbs). On two occasions now, triggered by bright lights, I have had a very sharp pain which feels as if is is deep inside my left ear- thankfully it dosn't last for two long, but is very intense. My migraine usually presents with no head pain and my main issues are poor balance, nausea, disequilibrium and occasionally phantom smells and half hour duration blind spells. I also suffer with chronic neck pain, which appears to have clear postural triggers, altho neuro has not ruled out basilar artery migraine, Can anyone relate to the sharp pain that seems to come from deep inside one ear?
