Cold turkey

I learned recently if I was taking migraine based drugs ( tension headace, tylenol, triptans) more than 15 days ( not doses) a month then most likely I was getting rebound headaces..

So I am attempting to take Naproxen (Alleve) on when really really bad. I am using ice alot and consistently feeding my body. I heard it would be about 6 weeks, seems like a long journey. But I am already having less headaces ( going on week 2).

Has anyone attempting this?

Thanks

Yes I went cold turkey and went to hell and back. Still get headaches but nowhere near as bad. Also been told not to take any painkillers as they can also cause headaches, I try not to but do give in occasionally
