I have no wish to be critical and write only in the hope of being helpful. Two things:

Firstly, what do you think people of my age make of the phrase 'running journey'? To us if we are able to, we run. We may indeed journey from a to b but that is it. We mat have targets, ambitions, objectives. But I strongly suggest we do not see ourselves as having anything quite so "noughties" as a 'journey'.

Secondly, a significant number of the people on here would devoutly wish they could run but, suffering varying degrees of COPD and worse, cannot. Such a poll serves only to reinforce their sense of isolation, alienation.

Only saying....

Mental health issues are SO lonely and make me feel alone and unloved and unlovable. NHS is not available and compassion fatigued. In contrast you are non judgmental ,also you have been on the the receiving end of this shit so know what it's like .We speak the same language

I feel so lonely also. Finding good care is nearly impossible. I am still here today because of willpower,y willpower has just about been depleted.

Seeing others describing similar conditions and experiences and how they are reacting and coping with them. Makes me feel less alone. And also gives greater hope for the future as the condition progresses.

Just knowing that others are there to listen and help me through low times in their way, has meant a lot.
