My son had Meningitus and septasemia in 2004 march.
He was lucky and didn't loose any limbs but he was left partially deaf and his balance was destroyed he had to learn to walk using his eyes/ brain for balance.
He was in his first year in uni as a zoologist (he has a passio for animalsnn for animals) when he got meningitus as he was near the end they passed his first year, ni he was unable to go back and finish straight away. He went back a year later and finished it with a notetaker. He has been unable to get a job even with all sorts of voluntary work and retrained as an English teacher. Last year he got a job in Indonesia for a year he has been glad to wornd has met an Indonesian girl there when his contract finished he got a job in Malaysia his partner is planning to go there in October and lov with him after her Engineering degree finishs. He is the happiest man now and still suffers with headachs hearing loss and poor balance but he had said that life is precous s and having com close to death its time to fight back and make everyday count and not let that awful desease win. Good luck with your fight back you can do it. Lily rosex
