Do any of you have shakiness as one of your after sickness symptoms?? I am 4 months out and my hands still shake so bad I can’t write well at times and can barely hold a cup. I am back to work and have trouble using my computer mouse. So frustrating. Any suggestions????

Shakiness remains
I’m almost 5 months post VM and I did get shakiness at times mostly in my hands and legs. I don’t believe I did anything in particular for it to go away. I did notice when I was more active than usual my legs and hands would get really shaky and eventually my body got use to my new routine and it slowly faded. I think it was related to my body building up and eventually I believe when my stamina increased the shaking stopped. Each day I was able to do a little more without the shaking.
I hope this helps
Thanks so much! It just makes me crazy. Yesterday was so bad at work. And my numb spots came back too. I think I did too much over the weekend. Went on ATV ride. They keep saying you have to REST and I try, but I hate it. Weather is good. This shaking just makes my other symptoms to start getting worse.
I'm 42 years...yes 42 years...post Meningococcal Septicaemia and DIC and my worst after effect is definitely the 24/7 pain in my feet, especially my toes area. Each year the pain has subsided a little. (For the first 10 years I was unable to even wear a woman's closed toe shoe and had to wear men's very wide sandals, because of the pain.) Then about 15 years ago, friends began asking if I had Parkinson's, because they noticed that sometimes my hands shook. I didn't even notice the shaking hands. My dr says it's Benign Essential Tremor. A Meningitis after effect? Don't know...could be just plain aging (I'm 75 and very active.)
