We are parents of three grown up children, our eldest daughter is 24 and has autism and mild learning difficulties . Looking to start the long road to safe independence and currently investigating the HOLD scheme.

Oh that’s good to hear! How’s it going? I am concerned we won’t be able to find a house that’s affordable or that a housing association will take on. Although we’re only at the start of the process

We’ve only just started the process but I want to put all the eggs in the basket as things are not working out at his new care home. So I’m looking for all options wit bn the help of my advocate.

Hi it's this mysafehome.info/ they do need to be in receipt of PIP and eligible for universal credit, but it's a shared ownership scheme designed for people with disabilities.
