Thank you again for your all your posts about the vaccine this week.

There are a lot of posts about group 6, and who is in this priority group for the vaccine.

People with a learning disability are not automatically given priority for the vaccine, but we have been trying to get this changed.

Here is a video from Emma from Liverpool. She explains how difficult the pandemic has been for her, and why she wants all people with a learning disability to be a priority for the coronavirus vaccine.

Over 7000 campaigners across England have written to their MP about the need to prioritise everyone with a learning disability for the coronavirus vaccine. The Government is starting to listen, but we think more can be done.

We are asking people to record a brief video message about why they feel people with a learning disability should be prioritised and share it to social media, tagging their MP; Helen Whately, the Minister for Social Care; and Nadhim Zahawi, the Minister overseeing the vaccine rollout.
