i need to complete my DBS checks with ID info

Good afternoon annsuelyn and welcome to this forum.When a DBS check is required it is because a person is employed or volunteering and is in contact with vulnerable adults or children, and possibly animals.An employer is looking to see that the person is suitable and does not have a criminal record.Your information is a little lacking in detail.If you are a volunteer the organisation should sort it out at no cost to them .I do DBS checks for a local Mencap society.You can find information on the GOV.org website.You need an application form and documents with your name and address and these should be less than 3 months old They can be bank statements or utility bills but more information on website.You also need a passport or driving licence if you have one but if not a birth certificate or marriage certificate.There are lots of documents you can use but they need to check that you are who you say you are and that you have lived in the address for a while.

It is much more difficult for recent movers or immigrants but not impossible.
