Join us this week to celebrate everything to so with siblings.

If your brother or sister has a learning disability we'd love to hear from you. Perhaps you have a story to share, or a question you'd like to ask.

Or may be you are a parent who'd like to tell us about your children?

Clare, the CEO of the SIBS charity will also be around to help answer any questions that you have.

See you there

Cheers

Sarah

Hi. I wondered if anyone is else had seen this in the Guardian

amp.theguardian.com/society...

What a tricky situation. This must be an issue for a lot of people at the moment.

Hope all siblings on here are coping and staying safe.

Hi Freddy - thanks for sharing this article. It is written by Saba Salman, who is one of the Trustees of the charity Sibs - which is dedicated to support siblings of disabled people. It is a concern that we are hearing a lot about currently at Sibs - so many adult siblings are worried about the health and wellbeing of their brothers and sisters who they can't visit. This might be because they are living in a residential service, with older parents who are self isolating, or because of their own health needs. We have been talking to lots of siblings about finding new and creative ways of keeping in touch via technology - singing songs together, dancing, doing an online exercise class. We would love to hear from other siblings about how they are keeping in touch if they aren't able to see their brother or sister with a learning disability at the moment.

Best wishes,

Clare
