How often do you, or the person you care for, see a lung cancer nurse specialist?
Please select one:
see nurse specialist each time I see oncologist 1-2 monthly.
Have only just been diagnosed, but lung cancer nurse specialist has been there every visit.
every 3 weeks
Only seen once since biopsy last Christmas and that was last week. I see oncologist every month.
We see the Mcmillan nurse or speak to her when ever we need to,just need to leave a message if they are not there they get back to us,or we just bob in to the office,,,,they are great !!!!!
Is available whenever we want to see her. She telephones monthly tho.
Have been on a drug trial - so no contact for several months . Otherwise perhaps once a month .
I have completed 4 cycles of chemo and the new cancer nurse specialist that was assigned to me never introduced herself so I went through my oncologist to get the answers I needed.
The previous year the nurse cancer specialist was very helpful, but I think when you know the ropes they leave you to it.
Contact is mostly by email and telephone . When I contact her she always gets back to me the same day . The brilliant Jackie Byers ! She deserves a medal .
Only recently diagnosed, but twice, when I saw respiratory specialist.
